This is the first Subaru model rolled out from production lines at existing Tan Chong motor assembly in Malaysia and exported to Thailand and Indonesia. The XV was launched in Indonesia during the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2012, together with BRZ and all new Impreza. Let’s have a look at the specification and feature for the Indonesian market. The 2.0 litre boxer engine is newly designed with longer stroke for better fuel efficiency. It also gets Subaru’s trademark symmetrical All Wheel Drive system which should give the XV great handling properties. The XV is equipped with CVT only for the Indonesian market and is likely the same as well for the Malaysian market.
