By now, you would have seen the brochure and also the estimated price for the new Toyota Camry, which is coming to Malaysia in June. How would Malaysia’s all time favourite large sedan/saloon stack up against rivals? In the 2.0 litre segment, there is the traditional Honda Accord 2.0 VTi-L, Nissan Teana 2.0 Luxury, Mazda 6 2.0 and couple of Koreans – Hyundai Sonata YF 2.0 and Kia Optima K5 2.0. Cues of 370Z Design
At the recent 2012 New York International Auto Show, Nissan unwrapped the all new Nissan Altima, which is a mid-sized sedan sold in the United States. The word “mid sized” can be confusing, as the current Nissan Teana is called the Nissan Altima in the States and they are based on Nissan’s D platform. Anyway, the new Altima has 2 petrol engine choices – the 2.5 four potter (we get the 2.5 V6 in Malaysia in the current Teana) and the 3.5 V6. Both engines are paired to CVT only.
