BFGoodrich makes a Malaysian comeback with All-Terrain T/A KO2 and Advantage T/A tires


Michelin-owned BFGoodrich, is poised to make a strong comeback in the  Malaysian automotive market. Today, the American tyre brand introduced the on-road Advantage T/A Drive and T/A SUV tyres, and the off-road All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires.

BFGoodrich Advantage T/A Drive

For the all-rounded drive

The BFGoodrich Advantage T/A range offers enhanced grip and a smooth, long-lasting ride. Suited for city and urban driving, the Advantage T/A range is developed for sedans and SUVs.

The tires deliver proven performance and control in any weather, or demanding road conditions.

The tyres use an enhanced symmetric tread design with rigid tread blocks and shoulder. On top of that, it has ‘jagged’ grooves for excellent handling and control.

It large tread block with deep wide longitudal, latitudinal grooves and sipes ensure excellent braking in both wet and dry.

The Advantage T/A range may be a on-road product, however, it is built tough. Using a strong structure of multiple plies and reinforced at the shoulder and bead area, it will carry you through any challenging road conditions.

The K02 is the first consumer tyre to incorporate the race-proven and race-winning CoreGard technology. CoreGard delivers unmatched toughness against sidewall splitting. The new K02 is 20% stronger than the predecessor KO tyre, specifically in critical off-road performance.

It’s not only tough. But it’s also highly durable, lasting twice as long on gravel roads, and 15% longer on asphalt.

That’s not all, the new K02 also delivers 10% better traction in the mud than the older KO.

Pricing and availability

BFGoodrich Advantage T/A Drive and T/A SUV tyres are available in Malaysia with a total of 32 sizes ranging from 13 to 18 inches. Available from March 2016.

Meanwhile, the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 has already been in the market since January 2016, with sizes from 15 to 18 inches available.
