New Ranger spurs Ford’s February sales

Fords new Ranger continues to post impressive sales, contributing 432 units to the overall 524 units in February 2016. The uber powerful pickup truck remains Ford’s best-selling vehicle in Malaysia.

Launched in Malaysia last October, the class-defining Ranger is recognized for its class-leading safety. It has the distinction of being the only pickup in Malaysia that offers Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and ISOFIX child safety mounts as standard, across all variants.

Its safety features are unmatched – including up to six airbags, driver assistance technologies like Lane Keeping Aid and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Its commitment to safety earned it a 5-star crash test rating from ASEAN NCAP, including the highest Adult Occupant Protection score of any pickup truck tested.

Ford hopes to build positive momentum through 2016 with the introduction of the new S-MAX and Focus, as well as the upcoming Everest SUV and iconic Mustang muscle car.

The all-new S-MAX MPV is equipped with Ford’s 2.0L EcoBoost engine, while the just-launched Focus features the 1.5L EcoBoost powerplant.
