Petaling Jaya – Honda Malaysia added a new colour – Dark Ruby Red Pearl – to its best selling model, City.
This is after Honda Malaysia’s thorough research that showed a lot of Honda customers chose red as preferred colour for the City. With this, Honda Malaysia is optimistic to sell 300 units monthly of the new colour City. The Dark Ruby Red Pearl joins the existing four colours of the City, i.e. Taffeta White, Modern Steel Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl.
Launched in March 2014, the City contributed 41% of Honda’s total sales in the first half of 2015. 55,587 units of the 4th generation City plying Malaysian roads, showed that it is the preferred B-segment car for Malaysians.
This is can be attributed to class leading features, such as huge 536 litre boot space, 6 Airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Emergency Stop Signal , Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), ISOFIX, Smart Entry and Push Start, 7” LCD display and rear air condition, depending on variants sold.
Equipped with 1.5L SOHC i-Vtec engine and coupled with the advanced Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT), the City is expected to raise Honda’s sales figures for the second half of 2015.
