Caterham Complete 2014 F1 Grid

The 2014 Formula One Championship roster is finally complete after Caterham finalised their driver lineup this week.

After the racing seat merry-go-round that’s been going on, F1 fans can finally look ahead to the much anticipated, much changed 2014 F1 Championship. Caterham have confirmed that the men piloting the green and yellow cars this year will be Kamui Kobayashi and Marcus Ericsson.

The Swede, Ericsson, will be making his F1 debut this year, graduating from several seasons in the GP2 series, as well as winning titles in Formula BMW UK and Japanese Formula Three. Kobayashi, on the other hand, is a more familiar face; advancing to Formula One in 2009 when he filled in for Timo Glock at Toyota shortly before the Japanese company left the sport. Kobayashi then drove for Sauber for three years, scoring a single podium finish at the 2012 Japanese Grand Prix. He later dropped out of F1 to pilot a Ferrari for the AF Corse team in the FIA World Endurance Championship – including a drive at Le Mans.

Formula One will be back on air on the 16th of March with the Australian Grand Prix.
