February 20th, 2012 – The new Toyota Prius and all-new Toyota Prius c was launched this afternoon at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre in Malaysia. UMW Toyota Motor, the local extension of the Toyota and Lexus marques, held the unveiling amid restrained class and style. The Prius is in its 3rd iteration, now diversified into two variants; Luxury and standard, while the all-new Prius c gets to hitch on big brother’s fame for the launch.

From here on, it would be much less of a hassle to describe how awesome the vehicle is using just one acronym instead of the host of proprietary names people sipping on premium Lavazza or Illy, wearing a suit and tie, in an upmarket office suite, would think of.
Peugeot 3008's big brother – 4008
Based on the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport platform, the 4008 sports 2 petrol and diesel options. The former, with its 1.6 litre and 2.0 litre, puts out 115 hp and 150 hp respectively. However, only the 2.0 litre is mated to CVT, while the 1.6 litre gets a 5 speed manual transmission. Of course, with any European make, the crème de la crème engine choices are the diesel version, which in the 4008 case, it will be the 1.6 litre HDi that outputs 115 hp and 1.8 litre HDi 150 hp (ironically identical to petrol). For those who loves to row gears, good news. Both are coupled with 6 speed manual gearbox. Peugeot says it will go on sale this year.

Named after an Indonesian word for tiger (we wonder why not Porsche Harimau), Porsche has teased us with a sketch of the baby Cayenne. Up until now, the Macan was known as Cajun. The Cee apostrophe D that is used in Top Gear's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car
We can describe the 2nd generation Cee’d in one word. Mature. Small hatch designs are notoriously hard to design. Not only do they need to look sporty, the interior also needs to be large and accommodating. The 2nd gen Cee’d has stretched headlights all the way round the fenders with an enlarged Scheyer grille in between. On the inside, Kia said it will have a more “driver-focused” design and better ergonomics with better plastics quality. Check out the interior shots and see if you concur with it.
