TCG is going to for an Insight media drive!
Will the 2012 Honda Insight bore the crap outta me? Or will it save me my Roti Canai money? The drive tomorrow will prove if petrol is worth more than dignity. Either that, or it will prove that not all hybrids are made alike.
Yes, as painstakingly snoring as it sounds, I shall be driving the Honda Insight towards Malacca tomorrow together with a bunch of Malaysian bloggers. This time, however, I shall be representing vernonchan.com in the drive, and attempt to tell the story in a lifestyle-sorta slant.
Yes, you heard it right; I may be in fact, turning gay.
My primary focus shall be to write the story in a manner that will suit people in suits and ties, and coats and penny pouches, and those who wear a bandage after a paper cut. I shall also need to cater for people who complain that a little rain will make them fall sick. Tough job, this… perhaps my most challenging yet.
However, in all fairness, I shall need to give an objective review of the new Insight, stepping into the shoes of the average Joe (and to some extent, Jill), and finding out, once and for all, if people who drive the Insight know something special that we don’t.
Thus, I shall wipe my prior prejudices out of my motorhead mind, and go to the drive tomorrow on a clean slate. Let’s see what this baby can do… to my image.
Thus, whilst Jack and Des will be covering the testosterone-filled, adrenaline-pumping 2012 Saturday Night Fever Challenge Series, I shall also be reporting live on TCG and vernonchan.com the whole drive tomorrow and the day after.

Andrew is a man of many talents (some hidden). He often baffles many with his uncanny ability to stay awake for an inhuman number of days, then disappears. For hours. TCG labels him “Comatose Man” for his nocturnal endeavours and sleep super powers.
Trained professionally to shoot people in the face, he has recently focused his photography talents to his other passion – cars. A qualified driving instructor with HPC Motorsports, he’s also a talented driver and can be seen outbraking and overtaking Type-Rs at Sepang in his limited edition Satria R3.
In between not sleeping, shooting and eating (he’s a huge foodie, any time of the day), he writes. And write well he does!
