Lucky Pharmacist Wins “The Transporter” All-Expense Paid Trip to Singapore Grand Prix 2011
PROTON Holdings Berhad announced Mohd Hanis bin Mohd Salleh as the winner of “The Transporter” contest, after an entertaining audition session involving eight finalists of the contest, chosen from hundreds of entries.
The 25 year-old pharmacist residing in Kuantan, will be accompanying Malaysian celebrities Jojo Struys, Diana Danielle and Yasmin Hani to the Singapore Grand Prix 2011 in an all-expense paid trip courtesy of PROTON. He will also gain exclusive access to the Paddock Club and tour the Lotus-Renault Grand Prix team garage.
The audition involved eight finalists chosen from the hundreds of entries received during the contest period, where the finalists had to answer a variety of questions ranging from lifestyle topics to Formula One.
The Transporter contest was launched on 25th July 2011 and signifies PROTON’s collaboration with the Lotus-Renault Grand Prix (LRGP) team. LRGP is currently fifth In the Constructor Standings of the 2011 Formula One season.

LUCKY PHARMACIST WINS ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE AS THE PROTON TRANSPORTER
Subang Jaya, September 23, 2011 – PROTON Holdings Berhad today announced Mohd Hanis bin Mohd Salleh as the winner of “The Transporter” contest, after an entertaining audition session involving all finalists of the contest.
Mohd Hanis, a 25 year-old pharmacist residing in Kuantan, will be accompanying Malaysian celebrities Jojo Struys, Diana Danielle and Yasmin Hani to the Singapore Grand Prix 2011 in an all-expense paid trip courtesy of PROTON, of which his trip will include a once in a lifetime experience where he will gain exclusive access to the Paddock Club and tour the Lotus Renault Grand Prix team garage.
“I am quite shocked as there were other finalists to beat and I didn’t think I would make it as the Grand Prize winner. But I won! I think this contest is a great way for PROTON to reward its loyal customers and to attract new ones. As a customer it makes me feel really appreciated.” Mohd Hanis said.
The audition involved eight finalists chosen from the hundreds of entries received during the contest period, where the finalists had to answer a variety of questions ranging from lifestyle topics to Formula One. Mohd Hanis impressed the panel of judges, which included Jojo Struys and two PROTON personnel, with his knowledge on the sport and creativity in answering the numerous questions. The remaining finalists did not go home empty handed, winning themselves exclusive Lotus-Renault Grand Prix merchandise and tickets to the Singapore Grand Prix.

The Transporter contest was launched on 25th July 2011 and signifies PROTON’s collaboration with the Lotus-Renault Grand Prix (LRGP) team which is competing in the current season of the FIA Formula One World Championship. Iconic sports car manufacturer Group Lotus, which is wholly owned by PROTON, is the title sponsor of the team. The contest is also part of PROTON’s many hospitality programmes planned during the Formula One season in support of Group Lotus.
LRGP is currently fifth In the Constructor Standings of the 2011 Formula One season.
